On 23 January, d@rts organised its the first End-User Board meeting. d@rts brings together researchers, arts organisations, educators and policy stakeholders to understand and develop dialogical ways of learning with and through music, dance and drama, as lived, shared practices that help people understand themselves and others in an increasingly diverse world.
d@rts has been able to involve a large number of associated partners both at European level and in all European partner countries. Their involvement is crucial in two respects. Firstly, ensuring access and acceptance in the field, which is necessary for specific work for example, in implementing activities or collecting data. Secondly, the associated partners play a decisive role in the dissemination and exploitation of the d@rts results. The partners have therefore been selected to cover the three performing arts subjects as well as formal and non-formal education in a life long learning perspective.

The project is grounded in the idea that cultural literacy, the ability to engage thoughtfully with cultural differences and creative expression, is shaped most powerfully through embodied, participatory artistic practices. By creating spaces for dialogue, co-creation and exchange, d@rts investigates how arts education can empower people of all ages and social positions to become artistically active, dialogically related and culturally literate.
All our Associated Partners contribute insights from arts education practice and help ensure that the project’s results are relevant, accessible and meaningful in real-world contexts.
Through this ongoing collaboration, d@rts looks forward to guaranteeing the translation of research into practice and policy, helping amplify voices and perspectives that are often unheard, and contributing to long-term impact beyond the project itself.
