Work Package 7

Description

Work Package 7 develops a critical framework for d@rts actions, and analyses from the perspective of the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expression while creating a practice and research-based recommendations to enhance cultural literacy, social inclusion, and cohesion.

It identifies postcolonial challenges in protecting cultural diversity, pinpoints gaps in cultural and educational policies, and analyses these issues from an international perspective with discussions involving policy experts.

It also develops a transdisciplinary research framework that promotes postcolonial reflection in arts education, revising existing frameworks based on insights from various work packages and including an online validation workshop with experts.

All research findings will be translated into actionable cultural policy recommendations through workshops with local cultural and educational stakeholders, ensuring that artistic and postcolonial insights also inform local policies.
